As a recent graduate of NSCAD’s Interdisciplinary Design program, Jim brings a local feel with global experience having also studied in New York and Beijing. Naturally curious and gifted across many creative platforms Jim is a bolt, a person who helps to bring the team together.
Daekyu brings 9 years of experience and wears many hats within our organization. As a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design with a degree in Interdisciplinary Design, he has imparted a keen eye on clients like the East Coast Music Association, Heritage Gas, Atlantic Lottery Corporation and O’Regan’s Automotive Group. Having also obtained credentials in Interactive Marketing from Sheridan College, Daekyu can bring brands to life in digital media using the latest platforms and technology.
With 13 years of marketing experience most of them on client side of the table, Dan has led strategic planning and execution in marketing campaigns as well as tactical sales initiatives across sales channels like Retail, Inbound and Outbound contact centres and door to door teams.
While he was educated at St. Lawrence College on Kingston, Ontario he’s a South Shore boy at heart and had the opportunity to grow his skills in Halifax with Bell Aliant, Bell Mobility and finally Eastlink. Dan worked his way from the retail sales floor to various marketing roles and is a believer sales is a process of three components: Marketing to drive the call to action, Sales to close the business and measured results to continuously refine the marketing.
Chris is the textbook example of the young professional the East Coast needs to hold on to. He is a graduate of Acadia University with a degree in marketing. Chris originally from Moncton decided to pull up stakes and move to Halifax to pursuit his passion in Advertising. His experience includes multiple internships at the Atlantic Lottery Corporation where he was responsible for, among other things, analytics, business intelligence and sponsorship marketing.
Tasha is the glue that holds this place together. Whether it’s chasing a timesheet, working with our partners or following up with a client she keeps us on point. Always willing to bring a bit of sass to keep the guys in line she fears no one.
He received his BA from Carleton in Ottawa and did post-graduate work at Dalhousie. After 8 years working in advertising in Toronto at O&M, Leo Burnett and MacLaren McCann, he and his family moved back to Halifax where he joined MT&L (now National) as VP Creative Director. A few years later, he went to CCL (now Colour) as VP Creative Director before being promoted to lead the whole advertising division.
In addition to leading the Sobeys account and CCL’s provincial government business, Chester’s prime responsibilities were Keith’s where he helped build into a national powerhouse; and the second was Nova Scotia Tourism. Working closely with the Nova Scotia Tourism Team, Chester was intensely involved in the 2004 Tall Ship Event. He was also the author of the “Right Here, Right Now” campaign that not only helped achieve record revenue results, but also won Nova Scotia’s first TIAC award for advertising.
